Menu
Pressing this button you will access to the setting menù of
the switchboard:
Directory, Door Stations, Booking,
Alarms, Mode and Settings. To access
to the submenus uses the buttons
and confirm by pressing
Directory
In the Directory can be stored up to 500 names of users or
door stations with their addresses (e.g.Alfred Brown 104;
Entrance Oxford St.231) or alias. To access the directory it
is necessary:
- press the button - select "Directory" - press
(all the names stored in the directory will be displayed in
alphabetic order, or you get a blank page in case the list is
empty) - pressing

Note. While entering or modifying a name it is possible
to change the character's type (upper case, lower case,
numerical) by pressing the button
Entering names or alias and addresses
To enter t he user's names or t he door station's identification
names you can use either the alphanumeric keypad or a
memory card (see chapter "Import/Export of users to/from
the directory"). To enter the names by the keypad follow
the below steps:
- after entered the directory menu as
described previously select "New",
press , enter the user's or door
station's name (e.g. Alfred Brown) or
the alias using the alphanumerical
keypad; in case of typing error, place
the cursor on the right of the wrong
character and press
- press to confirm and move to enter the user's ad-
dress consisting of the block address
(if any) + the device address (e.g.
10104). Attention: the device address
to be entered must correspond to the
address of the internal station of Mr. Alfred Brown's flat
(e.g.104).
- after entered the user's address press
, select "Save" and press
to store the user into the directory.
To add other users to the directory
repeat the previously described operations.
If it is necessary to store two users with the same address
(wife and husband; professional office and apartment) it is
possible to create two users with different name but with

Modify a user's name or user's address
In the directory select the user to edit - press
"Modify" - press

Display of user's list
The users can be displayed like a list (List) or one by one
(Details). Make the choice and press
directory. In both cases to move from one user to another
use the buttons
Import/Export of users to/from the directory
To load in a quick way the directory it is possible to use a
personal computer and a very common writing program like
Block Notes, Word pad or similar. Users must be written in
the following way:
"User's name and surname" followed by a "semicolon" (;)
"blank space" than "block address" followed by a "semicolon"
(;) "blank space" and t han "user's address" (3 digits) f ollowed
by a "semicolon" (;), than press

Save the file into the memory card (with a maximum capac-
ity of 2 GB ) with the name: contacts (pay attention that
switchboard recognizes only a file named contacts.txt;

switchboard – open the directory menu – press
"Import" – on the display appears: "procedure in progress:
please wait" and a loading bar will show the percentage of
already loaded data. Once finished the loading procedure
the system will go back to the directory.
If the loading procedure doesn't start, please check again
the file: contacts.txt (written with lower case letters and
the extension .txt) is in the memory card, please double
check for the correctness of data written inside the file (see
above example and take care that there is a semicolon as
