waste. It must be taken to a collection point authorised for recycling electric and electronic equipment. By
making sure this product is disposed of properly, you will help prevent negative effects on the environment
and human health that would otherwise result from inappropriate disposal of this product. You can learn
more about recycling this product from your local authorities, a household waste disposal service, or in the
store where you purchased this product.
Disposal of accumulators and battery cells
If an appliance contains an accumulator or a battery cell, these components contain substances that may
damage the environment when decomposing. Prior to the appliance disposal or the accumulator or battery
cell replacement, it is necessary to remove the original component and take it to a suitable designated
collection yard.
WARNING!
An accumulator or battery cell:
• Never throw into a fire!
• Never disassemble it!
• Never short-circuit its terminals!
Should an accumulator or battery cell leakage occur, the leaked solution is of an alkaline character. If your
skin gets stained, rinse it immediately with soap and water and seek medical treatment.
