4-STEP BUTONHOLES
PREPARE:
1. Take o the all purpose foot and attach the
buttonhole foot.
2. Measure diameter and thickness of button and add
0.3cm (1/8") for back tacks; mark buttonhole size on
fabric.
3. Place fabric under the foot, so that marking on
the buttonhole foot aligns with starting marking on
fabric. Lower the foot, so that the buttonhole center
line marked on the fabric aligns with the center of
the buttonhole foot.
Adjust the stitch length dial between "0.5 - 1" to set
stitch density.
NOTE:
Density varies according to the fabric. Always test
sew a buttonhole on the fabric you are using to sew
the buttonhole.
Follow the 4-step sequence changing from one step
to another with the stitch pattern selector dial. Take
care not to sew too many stitches in steps 2 and 4.
Use seam ripper and cut buttonhole open from both
ends towards the middle.

COMO fAzER CASAS
PREPARAÇÃO:
Substitua o pé calcador universal pelo pé calcador
especial para fazer casas.
Meça o diâmetro e espessura do botão e adicione
0,3 cm para os remates; no tecido, marque o
tamanho da casa.
Coloque o tecido por baixo do pé calcador de modo
que este coincida com o início da marca da casa.
Baixe o pé calcador para casas de modo que o seu
centro coincida com a linha central da marca da casa
no tecido.
Coloque o disco seletor de comprimento do ponto
entre as posições "0,5 a 1" para definir a densidade
do ponto.
NOTA:
A densidade varia de acordo com o tipo do tecido.
Antes de fazer a casa definitiva, é recomendável
testar primeiro.
Siga a sequência de 4 etapas mudando de uma etapa
para outra com o disco seletor do desenho do ponto.
Evite dar demasiados pontos nas etapas 2 e 4. Utilize
o abridor de casas (desmancha costuras) para abrir a
casa a partir das extremidades para o centro.
