Audible warnings, fault-finding
Error
Motor does not run; however audible beeps when switching
on, i.e. the controller attempts to detect the cell-count automatically.
Motor does not run, no audible beeps when switched on.
Servos do not function.
Motor does not run, no audible beeps when switched on. BUT: servos function.
When the controller is switched on the motor does not run. Two beeps, followed
by brief pause (** ** ** **).
When the controller is switched on the motor does not run.

When the controller is switched on the motor does not run. Constant beeps (****).
When the controller is switched on the motor does not run. Two long beeps,
followed by two brief beeps (_ _ * *).
Motor runs in wrong direction.
Motor stops in flight.
Motor starts unexpectedly; controller overheats.
This symbol means that you must dispose of electrical and electronic equipment
separately from the general household waste when it reaches the end of its useful
life.
Take your apparatus to your local waste collection point or recycling centre. This
applies to all countries of the European Union, and to other European countries with
a separate waste collection system.

Nano-Vector ARF Power Set
Possible reason
Speed controller's throttle function not calibrated.
Intermittent / loose connection between battery and speed controller.
No power.
Faulty soldering (dry joints).
Reversed polarity battery lead.
Reversed polarity connection between speed controller and receiver (throttle lead). Check speed controller lead, correct contacts if necessary.
Speed controller fault.
Intermittent / loose connection between battery and speed controller.
Burned out motor windings
Faulty soldering (dry joints).
Battery voltage outside the permissible range.
The speed controller has not detected a normal throttle signal from the receiver.
Throttle stick not at bottom end-point when the transmitter was switched on.
Throttle channel reversed; therefore controller has switched to Programming
mode.
Reversed cables between speed controller and motor.
No throttle signal.
Battery voltage fallen to 'low voltage threshold'.
Possible defective cable connection.
Possible interference at the flying field.
Inadequate cooling.
Servos drawing too muchcurrent; controller overloaded.
Motor or propeller too large.

Solution
Calibrate speed controller throttle function
Clean / replace plug and socket.
Fit a fully charged battery.
Re-solder dry joints.
Check and correct lead.
Replace controller
Clean / replace plug and socket.
Replace motor.
Re-solder dry joints.
Replace battery with a fully charged pack. Check battery voltage.
Check whether the speed controller lead is connected to the receiver throttle
channel. Check transmitter and receiver to determine whether a throttle signal
actually present (connect servo o check throttle channel).
Move the throttle stick to the "fully back" position.
Select servo reverse menu at transmitter, reverse throttle channel.
Note: Futaba system - must be set to "Reverse".
Swap over any two of the three wires between the speed controller and the
motor, or select "Motor direction reverse" function (controller's programming
mode); alternatively change the default parameters.
Check whether RC system is working properly.
Check position of controller and receiver. Check position of receiver aerial and
controller lead; there must be adequate space between these units in order to
avoid interference. Fit ferrite ring in speed controller's throttle lead.
Land model immediately, replace battery.
Check cables for possible damage.
Normal operation of the speed controller can be affected by interference at the
site. Switch speed controller on again, andcheck if it works properly. If the
problem cannot be solved, check the speedcontroller at a different flying site.
Re-position controller to ensure sufficient cooling.
Fit smaller servos whichdo not overload the speedcontroller. The maximum
BEC current must not exceed the value stated in the Specification.
Fit a smaller motor or a smaller propeller.
We accept no liability for errors and technical modifications.
