Caution and use
1. Do not overload your tool, use it only for the adequate purpose. The correct power tool will do the job in a
better and safer way. Using the power tools for purposes that are different from what is indicated in the manual
might lead to hazardous situations;
2. Perform maintenance on your SCHULZ power tool. Check if the moving parts are misaligned, bent or broken, or
if they bear any condition that might affect the correct operation of the machine.
If damaged, have the tool serviced before using it again. Many accidents are caused by lack of correct mainte-
nance of power tools;
3. Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean. The proper maintenance of the tool's cutting edges prevents them from
bending and improves handling
4. It's important to clamp down and support the workpiece, use, if necessary, c-clamps or some other practical
and safe way to hold the workpiece. Holding it with the hands or against the body is a dangerous solution and
might lead to loss of control of the situation, causing serious accidents;
5. Keep hands away from the cutting area. Do not put the fingers near the blade or its support. Do not control the
saw by its base, be attentive when using this tool, the incorrect use might cause serious accidents.
6. Keep the blades sharp, dull or worn blades might cause the saw to change direction or bog down under load.
It's important to always use the appropriate tool for each type of operation.
7. Touch neither the workpiece nor the blade right after operating the tool. The blades get hot and might cause burns.
8. The use of this tool might create and/or spread dust that may cause serious and permanent respiratory, and other,
injuries. To reduce the exposure to these substances, work in well-ventilated places and always use dust mask.
9. This product must not be used by people who are likely to lose consciousness suddenly. Example: (Epilepsy,
low or high blood pressure, sunstroke, etc.)
Use:
1. Before plugging your tool into the power outlet, check if the local power supply and your tool have the same
voltage. Check if the tool is in good conditions by performing a quick visual inspection. If any abnormality is
found, immediately suspend the use and contact the nearest Schulz authorized dealer for repair;
ATTENTION
The working speed of your tool can vary according with varying the
supply voltage electrical, cables and extensions used.
2. Use the on/off button (item 1 - picture 1) to turn the tool on. For continuous use, you can use the lock-on button
(item 3 - picture 1) to keep the tool operating. Press the on/off button to unlock;
Changing the saw blade:
The tool offers a quick change system that allows the blade change without using any tool.
Installing the blade (see figure 2):
Lift the blade guard (item 12 - figure 1), turn the lever (a) according to the direction of the arrow and hold. Insert
the blade in the groove (b) and push it in to the end. During this procedure, the back part of the blade must be
well embedded in the groove of the bearing of the tool's blade support. Release the lever and let it go back to
place to lock the blade. Lower the blade guard.
Removing the blade: Lift the blade guard (item 12 - figure 1), turn the lever (a) according to the direction of the
arrow, the blade (b) will be ejected due to tension forces. Release the lever and lower the blade guard.
