between the vehicle harness connector and the taillight
assembly. Firmly press the connector ends together until the
locking tabs engage. Take care not to damage the locking
tabs.
6. Route the T-Connector ends containing the Green wires
under the threshold cover to the Right (passenger) side.
7. Repeat steps 4 & 5 for the Right (passenger) side using
the T-Connector ends containing the Green wires and the Blue
vehicle connector.
8. Locate a clean accessible mounting location on the
vehicle near the wiring harness ends within reach of the
White wire and grounding eyelet. Remove any debris or
undercoating to expose a clean metal surface and drill a
7/64" hole.
Caution: Take care not to drill through the body or
any exposed surface.
9. Mount the White wire using the ground screw and eyelet
provided.
10. Confirm harness operation with a test light or by using
a properly equipped trailer.
11. Return all trays, trim panels and covers to their original
positions.
