1) DIRECTLY ONTO THE ROOF OF THE VEHICLE. For installation on horizontal roofs
which are not very curved.
1.1) FIXATION OF THE LIGHT BY MEANS OF M5 SCREW (Option A).
Drill three holes of 6 mm diameter for the screws M5x16 and one of 9 mm diameter
for the grommet . Before drilling check, once again, the position of the light and ensure that on both
sides of the surface there is nothing that could be damaged. Use the drawing of page 17 as a
template to mark the centre of the holes.
The M5x16 screws and the three 20 mm ring gaskets must be put into their place in the base
of the light.
1.2) FIXATION OF THE LIGHT BY MEANS OF 4.2 SELF-TAPPING SCREWS (Option C).
Drill three holes of 3.5 mm diameter for the self-tapping screws 4.2x16 and one of 9 mm
diameter for the grommet . Before drilling check, once again, the position of the light and ensure
that on both sides of the surface there is nothing that could be damaged. Use the drawing of page
17 as a template to mark the centre of the holes.
The 4.2x16 self-tapping screws and the three 20 mm ring gaskets must be put into their place
in the base of the light.
2) USING THE ADAPTABLE BASE. For installation on roofs which are slightly sloping or
with a certain degree of curve.
2.1) FIXATION OF THE LIGHT BY MEANS OF M5 SCREW (Option B).
Drill three holes of 6 mm diameter for the screws M5x30 and one of 9 mm diameter for the
grommet . Before drilling check, once again, the position of the light and ensure that on both sides
of the surface there is nothing that could be damaged. Use the enclosed template to centre the
holes.
Use the M5x30 screws and the adaptable base.
The tightening of the screws will absorb the slight curve or sloping of the roof.
2.2) FIXATION OF THE LIGHT BY MEANS OF 4.2 SELF-TAPPING SCREWS (Option D).
Drill three holes of 3.5 mm diameter for the self-tapping screws 4.2x30 and one of 9 mm
diameter for the grommet . Before drilling check, once again, the position of the light and ensure
that on both sides of the surface there is nothing that could be damaged. Use the enclosed
template to centre the holes.
Use the 4.2x32 self-tapping screws and the adaptable base.
The tightening of the screws will absorb the slight curve or sloping of the roof.
3) TUBE MOUNTING ACCORDING TO ISO 4148.
As an option the adaptor for tube mounting can be supplied ( BD-106 Ref.8232386 ). This
base comes with an electrical connector according to ISO 4165.
