Procedure for Installation of the RS232 -
RS485 Protocol Converter

Particular Characteristics

The protocol converter operates at physical level; it does not make
any check on the frame in transit and can therefore be used for
products that do not use the standard protocol.

Connection Diagram

There are two different connection schemes if you use the wire or
fiber version.
The following figure shows the typical connection of the Protocol
Converter Wire version with a Agilent MoniTorr RS485 network. If
the connection cable is too long or if it crosses noisy environments, a
twisted and shielded cable should be used.
