Maintenance
Cleaning the ceiling unit is recommended every second month in order to protect the unit
against engrained dirt. Do not use cleaning fluids with abrasive or corrosive ingredients, as
these will damage the surface.
Electrical parts must not be exposed to water. The cover can be opened by loosening the two
wing-nuts and by rotating the cover downwards. Then the filters are ready to be removed and
cleaned. The filters are made of aluminium and must not be cleaned with corrosive cleaning
agents.
Either: Place the filter in clean water at a temperature of between 40-50°C, add cleaning
agent and let soak for 2-3 minutes. Then clean the filter with a soft brush.
Or: Place the filter in a dishwasher.
Add dishwasher detergent and set the temperature to approx. 60°C.
