Determine the post size, 2" or 2.5", and post wall
thickness, 1/16" or 1/8", (Fig. 1).
If your posts have a 1/16" wall thickness, proceed
to Step 6.
If your posts have 1/8" wall thickness, please
follow Steps 2 – 5 for assembly instructions.

Disassemble your surface mount kit by unscrewing
the hex head bolt (Fig. 3) until the cap nut and collet
are free (Fig. 4).

Based on the wall thickness of your post, nd the
proper cap nut (item A or B). Discard the other cap
nut (Fig. 5).
