Step 7 .........Please check the connector for leaks using soapy water. Apply soapy
water to the connection area. Leaking gas will produce bubbles.
YOU MAY PROCEED TO SETUP/LIGHTING YOUR HEATER.
Step 7 .........When you are sure there are no leaks, you may proceed to setup/
lighting your heater.
SETUP/LIGHTING YOUR HEATER
Step 1 .........Open the valve to a low or medium setting. Twist in a counter clock-
wise direction.
Step 2 .........Place a flame source near the face of the burner and at the same time
press the RED gas release button. Gas will begin to flow and the burn-
er will ignite.
Step 3 .........Continue to press the RED starter button down for 60 Seconds to as-
sure continuous gas flow.
Step 4 .........If heater fails to light, turn off the valve. Allow any gas to dissipate
and repeat steps 1-3.
Step 5 .........If heater still does not light – contact Texsport Customer Service at
800-231-1402 8AM – 5PM CST Mon-Fri.
USING YOUR HEATER
Step 1 .........After burner has ignited, adjust valve to desired heat level.
Step 2 .........While ignited DO NOT touch the metal reflector or safety grid.
Step 3 .........Keep children, pets and flammable materials well away from ignited
burner. See clearance zone diagram of this booklet.
Step 4 .........Handle only by grasping the propane bulk tank handle.
Step 5 .........Allow heater to cool for 15 minutes before storage.
DO YOU SMELL GAS? IF YES, THERE IS A LEAK.
IS THE CONNECTION AREA EXTREMELY COLD?
IF SO, THERE IS A LEAK
DO NOT USE HEATER IF IT IS LEAKING.
