9 Commissioning

The power supply unit is connected to the mains voltage via the 4 mm safety sockets and the mains switch.
The LED in the mains switch must light up after the unit is switched on. The blue LED on the unit for
indicating the operating status must light up.
Consumers should be connected while the power supply unit is switched off to prevent the possibility of
sparking.
Correct polarity must be assured:
The red socket is the "24 V DC" connection
The blue socket is the "0 V" connection
The output voltage is potential-free. The "0 V" connection must be connected to the ground connection if
the output voltage is to be referred to the reference potential of the supply network (ground potential).

10 Eliminating malfunctions

Indicator in the mains switch not lighting up

Solution
• Check the plug socket,
• Check that the 4 mm safety plug is securely inserted
• Check the load for short circuit by switching off the device,
unplugging the load and switching back on the device.
• Check the resettable fuse (4 A) by pressing the button.
