4. If the density of the operating medium is greater than 860kg/m³, a conversion to the
corrected safety height HA is required. A higher vacuum is generated in the liquid column

. The density of the stored operating medium must be known. This is shown in Table

If the safety height is not corrected, there is no protection against siphoning.
Set the safety height HA as follows:

If the density of the operating medium is less than 820kg/m³ the setting for the safety height
can be reduced when HA has been determined. This is beneficial in case of larger height
differences to reduce the vacuum in the suction line.
Carry out a FUNCTION CHECK and do not „ventilate" anymore!
