The slot of the belt buckle must be free
from pollution because particles could
disrupt a correct locking. Buckles with
such kind of failures must be exchanged.
Keep the belt strap always clean be-
cause an increasing pollution can impair
the function of the belt retractor.

After an accident the exchange of the
safety belt can be indicated, even if there
is no damage visible.
