6. Selecting the position of the output spectrum

After having selected the parameter „... QAM", press
and go to the sub-menu.
7. Aligning the channel unit
The output level of the channel unit can be adjusted
with the aid of the level adjuster (on front panel). Recom-
mended level range on output of the reception system
UFG 308/312/316: 75...90 dBµV / 75 Ω.
Level measurement requires the use of a QAM capable
signal meter (e. g. MSK 33 from Kathrein).
The measuring instruments from Kathrein mentioned in
the following can also be used, provided that the corresponding correction values are added to the
displayed value.
