General Safety Instruc-
tions
When installing, starting-up and operating the
machine, always observe the following safety
instructions:
CAUTION:
A defective machine can lead to malfunctions!
On detection of damage or a functional defect of
the machine:
▷ Label the machine as defective.
▷ Prevent further operation until the machine
has been repaired.
NOTE:
Possible machine damage through insufficient
cooling during milling/grinding operations!
▷ For milling/grinding operations, operate the
machine only with sufficient quantity of cool-
ant/lubricant and the coolant circuit
switched on.
NOTE:
Damage through escaping coolant/lubricant!
▷ Check the tank regularly for leaks.
▷ Make sure that no liquid escapes from the fil-
ter cap.
NOTE:
▷ Switch the machine off when not in use or
unsupervised for longer periods, e.g., over-
night. This method of saving electrical
energy also benefits the environment.

Suitable Personnel
NOTE:
The machine may only be unpacked, installed or
relocated by trained specialist personnel,
authorized by the manufacturer.
NOTE:
Starting-up and operation of the machine may
only be carried out by trained specialised per-
sonnel.
