The waffle plate requires approx. 4‐5 minutes to warm up.
When the desired temperature has been attained, the green operation lamp goes out.
Now open the device and place the waffle dough inside.
The heating plates include a non‐stick coating. This means pre‐greasing is not necessary for normal use.
Now shut the lid, the baking process will last approx. 5‐6 minutes (depending on the thickness and
content of the waffle dough).
Now remove the waffle with the help of wooden or heat resistant plastic spatula. Do not use any
objects with sharp edges, to avoid damaging the coating!
If you intend to prepare a series of waffles, keep the lid closed in the meantime to conserve the heat.
Unplug the device after use.
CARE AND CLEANING
Warming:
Before cleaning the appliance, always switch it off, disconnect it from the electricity supply and allow it to
completely cool down.
Do not allow stains to dry. Clean the appliance and the baking surfaces as soon as possible after use.
The inner baking surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild washing‐up liquid. Wipe the
surfaces dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use any wire wool, metal brushes, scourers or other hard objects to clean the appliance and the
baking surfaces; these could scratch the appliance and its non‐stick surfaces.
Caution: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance
must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and
repairs by third parties or the fitting of non‐original parts are not covered by this guarantee.
