Deletion of memories:
- In order to delete memories, hold
the memory button down for 3
seconds when in the memory reading
function. All the memories will be
deleted when you hear 3 "beeps".
Self-disconnection function (stand-by):
- For the purpose of saving energy,
the appliance is designed to self-
disconnect (stand-by) after 1 minute
if the user has not carried out any
action with it during this period.
Once you have finished using the
appliance:
- Turn the appliance off using the on/
off switch for 5 seconds.
- Remove the batteries from the
appliance if you are not going to use
it for some time.
- Clean the appliance
Practical recommendations:
- Avoid eating, smoking and intensive
activity in the 30 minutes before
taking the measurement.
- Let at least 1 minute pass between
measurements so as to relax the
circulation of the blood in the arm.
Special messages:
The following messages can appear
on the screen:
- Er 0: Signifies that the pressure
system is unstable prior to measure-
ment. In this case, do not move and
repeat the measurement.
- Er 1 o Er 2: Signifies that there
has been a failure in detecting the
systolic or diastolic pressure. In this

case, do not move and repeat the
measurement
- Er 3: Signifies that the pneumatic
system has become blocked or that
the wristband is too tight-fitting
during inflation. In this case, adjust
the wristband correctly.
- Er 4: Signifies that the pneumatic
system has suffered a leak or that the
wristband is too loose-fitting during
inflation. In this case, adjust the
wristband correctly.
- Er 5: Signifies that the pressure
in the wristband is greater than
300mmHg. Wait for 5 minutes and
repeat the measurement. If the mo-
nitor still presents this error take the
appliance to an authorised Technical
Assistance Service.
- Er 6: Signifies that the pressure
in the wristband has been greater
than 15mmHg for over 3 minutes.
Wait for 5 minutes and repeat the
measurement. If the monitor still
presents this error take the appliance
to an authorised Technical Assistance
Service.
- Er 7: Signifies an access error to
the appliance's EEPROM program.
Wait for 5 minutes and repeat the
measurement. If the monitor still
presents this error take the appliance
to an authorised Technical Assistance
Service.
- Er 8: Signifies that an error has
occurred with the checking parameter
of the device. Wait for 5 minutes and
repeat the measurement. If the mo-
nitor still presents this error take the
appliance to an authorised Technical
Assistance Service.
