PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

BASE AND WHEELS ASSEMBLY
The shredder requires assembly after unpacking.
• Put axis (9) through holes in trolley frame (8) (fig. B).
• Slide washer onto axis that protrudes from the frame, then slide
the wheel (10), another washer and screw on the nut.
• Do the same on the opposite side of the axis.
• Use the key to carefully tighten nuts, while holding the axis (9).
Wheels should rotate freely, they should not have too great lateral
play.
• Push the hub cap (11) on each wheel.
• Position the shredder upside down and press the trolley frame (8)
into frame seatings (14) (fig. C).
• Make sure the structure is stable and frame is pushed to the limit.
• Turn over the shredder to working position.
To transport the shredder, hold it by the handle (3) (fig. A) and lean
slightly just to lift the trolley frame above ground.
BAG INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
Install and remove the bag only when the device is off.
• Slide the bag (7) under the shredder (fig. A).
• Put the bag loops (7) over the bag catches (6) located at each side
of the shredder.
• Position the bag over bottom part of the shredder with ejector
hole.
• To remove the bag, disconnect bag loops and remove the bag
from under the shredder.
Check the bag level and empty regularly to allow woodchips out
of the shredder. Do not allow to block the shredder ejector hole,
otherwise the device may be overloaded.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
Put on protective gloves, glasses and hearing protectors before
starting to work.
Never overload the device. Follow instructions regarding
maximal diameter of shredded branches, as specified in the
technical parameters table.
Never put hands into any hole of the device during operation.
Rotating blades may cause operator injury.
SWITCHING ON
The shredder is equipped with undervoltage release switch. At
temporary voltage decay the switch automatically turns to „0"
position.
Before using the shredder make sure the cover screw (4) (fig. A) is
tightened.
• Make sure the loading funnel (5) does not contain branches.
• Press the switch (1) where indicated with „1".
• Wait a moment until the motor reaches its maximum speed.
• Put a branch in the loading funnel (5).
• Use of At the last stage of shredding it may be necessary to use
the pusher (15) (fig. D) that allows to push a branch in the loading
funnel (5).
SWITCHING OFF
Switch off the shredder only when shredding is finished.
• When necessary, use the pusher (15) (fig. D) to push remaining
branches in the loading funnel (5) and finish shredding.
• Press the switch (1) (fig. A) where marked „0" to switch off the
device.
After switching off the device, its blades may rotate for a while.
Stay alert.
In case of overload, the safety switch will trip (2) (fig. A). The device
can be switched on again, after cooling down press the safety switch
(2).
The device is not designed for continuous operation at full load.
Recommended work cycle is specified in table with parameters.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing
any activities related to adjustment, repair or maintenance.
When touching cutting blades, always wear protective gloves.
• Cleaning the device after each use is recommended.
• Do not use water or other liquids for cleaning the device, as they
can damage plastic parts.
• Clean the tool with dry cloth.
• Use protective gloves and be careful when cleaning blades in
working section of the tool.
• Always store the tool in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
DEINSTALLATION AND INSTALLATION OF CUTTING BLADES
The device is equipped with two cutting blades (16) (fig. E) installed
on rotary disc, located in the cutting chamber.
Cutting blades are two sided, once they get blunt you can turn
them over by 180° to use the second cutting edge. Cutting blades
that are damaged or blunt on two sides should be replaced with
new ones.
To remove cutting blade:
• Undo the cover bolt (4) (fig. A) and open the cutting chamber.
• Undo the blade fixing screws (17) while holding the cutting blade
(16) with your hand (fig. E).
• Rotate the disc to do the same with the other cutting blade.
Installation of cutting blade is similar to deinstallation, only the
sequence of actions is reversed.
