24. Position and install the engine block heater element
(3) and bolt (1) into the opening under the rear of the
exhaust manifold forward of the fluid level indicator/
dipstick (2).
25. Using a T­30 socket/driver/ratchet, tighten the bolt (1)
to 9 N­m (80 in­lbs).
26. Plug in the engine block heater cord (1) to the element
(2).
27. Lower the vehicle enough to access the top of the en­
gine.
28. Begin routing the cord (1) upward towards the front of
the engine and install the harness retainers into the
driver valve cover holes.
