0. WARNINGS
• The installation of the electrical resistance kit for OKSOL and OKSOL SMART systems must be carried
out by qualified personnel.
• To prevent damage to the OKSOL and OKSOL SMART system, only the electrical resistance supplied by
the manufacturer may be used.
• OKSOL SMART can incorporate both the V-10877 resistance kit (without control from the IoT electronics)
and the SMART V-10857 resistance kit. However, OKSOL can only incorporate the V-10877 resistor kit.
This manual explains the installation process of both kits.
• It is recommended to mount the electrical resistance kit together with a switch or a timer, so that the
activation of the kit can be controlled for more efficient use.
• The heat transfer fluid and the elements of the solar primary circuit may be at a high temperature. Only
operate when the collector temperature is safe. Only operate the system under cover or with low solar
irradiation (high cloud cover).
• The storage tank of the OKSOL system must be empty or at least below the level of the electrical
resistance connection.
Before you start emptying the storage tank, unscrew the black plastic plug from the
upper overflow port of the OKSOL.
