Operating instructions:
Activating the batteries:
Remove the battery protective film. (Fig. 2)
Insert/replace battery
Open the battery compartment.
Use three AAA batteries (note polarity).
Place the device where there is the best possible detection range
and where the on/off switch can be easily reached.
(Detection range 110° with 4 m radius)
Select the desired operation from
ON/OFF/Auto with the switch.
Operating state:
OFF:
In switched off state the device remains off, of course, and
the LED stays off.
Auto:
The device has an integrated infra-red sensor, which reacts
immediately to body heat and activates the integrated LED light,
as soon as anyone enters the detection range.
The light reacts immediately and stays on as long as there is
movement in the detection range. After the device no longer
detects movement in the detection range, the light switches off
automatically after ca. 30 seconds.
A daylight sensor is likewise installed in order to prevent the alarm
being continuously triggered during the daytime.
On: The light is on constantly.
Safety instructions:
Install/keep out of reach of small children!
Keep batteries out of reach of children!
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Use only in dry environments!
If the device is no longer required then please
dispose of it properly.
Do not discard it with the household waste,
but rather give it in at a collection centre for electrical and electronic devices.
The batteries should be disposed of separately.
Please ensure the packaging materials are recycled
appropriately in the interests of environmental protection.
Packaging materials are raw materials and can be recycled.
Your local administration will be able to give you details
of opening times and addresses for waste
collection centres.
