The machine is intended for hammer drilling in con-
crete, brick and stone as well as for chiselling. It is
also suitable for drilling without impact in wood,
metal, ceramic and plastic.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.

Before Putting into Operation

The batteries are partially charged and delivered in
idle state. The battery must be activated before using
for the first time. For this, place the battery onto the
charger for a short time. The LED on the battery indi-
cates the charge condition.
When the battery is not used for longer periods, it
switches to the idle state. In order to use the battery
again, it must be reactivated.
When the battery is completely discharged, it
switches off automatically (deep discharging not
possible). When the power tool is switched on none-
theless, the battery delivers only brief current pulses.

The power tool "flickers" as an indication that the

As a general rule: Should the power tool not be
0 –4700/min
operative after inserting the battery, place the bat-
tery onto the charger. The indicators on the battery
3.2 J
and the charger then provide information about the
SDS-plus
battery condition.
At low temperatures, further operation is possible
with reduced power output. The battery switches off
automatically below -10 °C.

Battery Charging

26 mm
A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer
68 mm
period does not develop its full capacity until after
max. 30 mm
approximately 2 – 3 charging/discharging cycles.
max. 13 mm
To remove the battery 10, push back the release but-
ton 9 and pull the battery out downwards. Do not
4.4 kg
exert any force.
Please refer to the enclosed "Battery Charger"
instructions for the operation of the battery charger
Li-Ion
as well as for a description of the charging process.
The battery is equipped with an NTC temperature
NTC
control which allows charging only within a temper-
ature range of between -10 °C and +66 °C. A long
28 V
battery service life is achieved in this manner.
3.0 Ah
A significantly reduced working period after charg-
1.0 kg
ing indicates that the batteries are used and must be
replaced.
Observe the notes on environmental protection.
