Support Prolongating - Drywall Ceiling

If the fixation of the support is
done on a drywall ceiling,
p r i s o n e r

prolongating piece will be
needed. It is important that the
prisoner screw stays at the
inferior part of the set with a
remaining length of 172mm
above the drywall ceiling so that
the finishing set fits perfectly in
the end. The other two prisoners
screws can be fixed at any order.

It is extremely important to fix the
fhex prolongating screws (9)
a n d

always with opposite screw nuts
as shown in the picture above.

Screw the screw-nut (5) and the
prolongating piece (9) and,
afterwards, tighten them up in
opposite direction using the hex
keys (19 and 20).
If, in the support fixation, the prisoners
(15 and 16) that accompany the
product are not enough to reach the
distance between the roof and the
plaster, it is necessary to purchase of
a larger prisoner. (Prisoner with a Ø
3/8" UNC nut).
In the case of the prisoners supplied, if
the necessary size exceeds, just saw
them to the correct size.
