TO STRAIGHTEN (FIG. 6)
1. Take a lock of hair (approxi-
mately 5 cm wide) and place
it between the plates. Close
them and slide the straightener
down the lock of hair from the
roots to the tips.
2. Repeat this operation until all
your hair is completely straight.

For best results, we recom-
mend you begin with the lower
layers of hair and continue with the
top layers.
TO WAVE (FIG. 7)
For a wavy or curly look, sepa-
rate vertical locks so the curls fall
more naturally.
Take thicker sections for bigger
curls or natural-looking waves and
finer strands for romantic ringlets
and tighter curls.
1. Wrap each lock of hair around
the straightener using a circu-
lar motion (as through it were a
round brush) to get a wave and
ringlet shaped lock.
2. Wrap the hair around as you
slide the straightener down-
wards.
CLEANING AND MAINTE-
NANCE
Before cleaning the appliance,
make sure it is unplugged from the
mains.
Make sure the plates are cool
before cleaning the appliance.
1. Clean the surface of the
straightener with a dry cloth.
2. Clean the plates with a damp
cloth and then dry them.
3. Do not use abrasive products
for cleaning.
4. If you are not going to use the
appliance for a long period
of time, store it in a dry, safe
place away from children.
