1.1 Installation on AC drives, frame size B to F and C2 to F2
(48-003 to 48-250, 52-003 to 52-074 & 69-090 to 69-200)
• Mount the overshoot clamp unit outside the inverter on a flat surface with four M6 screws. The
dimensions of the overshoot clamp unit are shown in Fig. 4 on page 4.
• Mount the DC Fuse holder close to the lower part of the AC drive (where DC-terminals are located).
NOTE: DC fuses (in fuse holder) to be mounted within 0.5 m from inverter DC+ / DC-
connections. For safety reasons it is important that the cable between the DC+ / DC - and the
DC Fuse holder is as short as possible.
• Connect cables between the DC fuse holder and the DC+/DC- terminals see Fig. 3 on page 4. We
advise using flame-retarding cables, min. 4 mm

• Mount the overshoot clamp unit outside the inverter on a flat surface with four M6 screws. The
dimensions of the overshoot clamp unit are shown in Fig. 4 on page 4.
• Attach the mounting plate with DC Fuse holder to the slots on the PEBB (one of the PEBBs if more
than one) and secure it with one M6 screw.
• Connect the cables (included in delivery) between the DC fuse holder and the DC+/DC- terminals
see Fig. 2.
Use the two M6 x 10 screws (included in delivery).

2. Connect the Overshoot Clamp to the DC fuse holder and to the
motor cables (all types & sizes)
• Connect cables between F1 and F2 terminals on the fuse holder to + and - terminals on the Over-
shoot clamp unit as shown in the diagram in Fig. 3 on page 4. We advise using flame-retarding

cables, min. 4 mm
with braided sleeving.
• Connect ground
to nearest drive ground point.
• Connect the overshoot clamp to the motor cables as shown in the diagram in Fig. 3 on page 4,
(Example with 2 PEBBs). The degree of protection is IP20.
