Starting the engine
The engine cannot be started until the blade
has been attached (balance weight)!
a) Without throttle remote control

Engage steering.
Set Variolever [b] to Position
and place steering rod in a forward-
pointing direction (to drive straight ahead).

Press the primer button 3x at intervals
of approx. 2 seconds.
At temperatures below 10 °C press the
primer button 5x.
If the engine is warm, do not press the
primer button!

Pull the engine brake handle towards the
upper handle and hold in position – the
engine brake handle does not lock into
position.
H
Quickly pull out the starter cable and then
let it slowly wind up again.
The engine has a fixed throttle setting.
Speed control is therefore not possible.
b) mit Gasfernbedienung

As the grass collection container becomes
fuller, teh fill indicator closes progressively.

emptied no later than when the fill indicator is
closed.
Unlock steering lock
Place Variolever [b] in Position
When the steering lock is not unlocked, it
is not possible to make a steering turn.
The Vario direct steering allows the
front axle on the housing chassis to
swing by approx. 42° to the right and left,
respectively.
Vario steering device:
➜ curve to the right
Move to the right
➜ curve to the left
Move to the left
Press the gear switch lever against the
upper handle and keep hold – the gear
switch lever does not lock into position.
Driving speed: approx. 3,5 km/h
Release the gear switch lever.
The fill indicator shows how full the grass
collection container is.
Fill indicator open (GO) ➜
Grass collectoin container is empty
Fill indicator closed (STOP) ➜
