For countries which have no legal regulations
governing measurement calibration inspections,
we recommend that thermometers be calibrated
annually.

• The thermometer complies with the EMC requi-
rements according IEC 60601-1-2. Radio trans-
mitting equipment, cellular phones etc. must not
be used in close proximity to the thermometer,
since this could influence the performance of the
thermometer. Particular care must be taken
when using strong emission sources such as
radio-frequency surgical equipment and similar
equipment, such as ensuring, for example, that
RF cables are not installed on or near the ther-
mometer. If in doubt, contact a qualified techni-
cian or your local distributor.
