Inserting the plastic tube refill
EN
Insert the required plunger tube SR 400 or SR 600
(accessory) into the device.
Press the application nozzle (not supplied with the
device) onto the screw cap 2 until it clicks into
place.
Push plastic tube refill into the plunger tube 3.
Cut the plastic tube open directly at the tube clip
with a clean cut or cut open and screw the 2 cap
on tightly.
Ensure that the screw cap is firmly seated.
There is an increased risk of injury from
debris being projected.
Operating Tips
The integrated, rapid venting valve prevents any
material from subsequently dripping.
In the case of very small nozzle openings or unu-
sually soft sealants there may be slight subse-
quent dripping.
Ensure the nozzles do not get blocked.
This could lead to increased, uncontrolled flow of
material.
The working process should be performed in inter-
mittent operation 2/6 min., i.e. switched on for 2
minutes, 6 minutes pause.
Do not over-stress the device or use it for a long
time without any pause.
Otherwise, the device can block or become dam-
aged.
When using the new cartridges, especially those
made of aluminium with the tight-sealing, forked-
end plunger, the increased initial pressing force of
this plunger can cause initial excessive extrusion.
If air is trapped between the cartridge plunger
tubeand the material, this can cause uncontrolled
extrusion.
KAP-EN / 0802
Do not use any cartridges or plastic tube refills
with hardened sealant.
-NOTE-
Remove hardened material from the application
nozzle.
This ensures that there is no uncontrolled mate-
rial leakage.

Cartridge tube with plunger-rod KRS
310
When using cartridges (containing sealant or
glue), aluminium cartridges with tight-sealing
forked plungers, or cartridges with sensitive pres-
sure-plunger devices, the cartridge tube KRS 310
with plunger-rod is recommended.
This type of plunger tube prevents any air from
penetrating inside the cartridge or sealant/glue.
It is therefore ideal for material that reacts with air
or where bubbles are not acceptable.
Changing the plunger tube
Remove the battery from the device
before undertaking any work on the
device.
This safety measure prevents acci-
dental starting of the power tool.
