Maintenance

Warning Always disconnect the unit from the mains during any servicing,cleaning and
maintenance work.
There should always be two people with electrical experience present when servicing
and repairs are being carried out.
All work on the electrical components of the unit should should only be carried out by
a qualified electrician or by Dentaurum customer services.
Caution Check the water level regularly. If the water level is too low, the casting machine is no
longer cooled properly. If the tank is empty, the pump can be damaged.

5.1 Cleaning the unit

Wipe the unit occasionally with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or tools.

5.2 Emptying the water tank

Switch the casting machine off.
Unscrew the water pressure hose with angled connector („Water IN") and hold the hose in a container into
which the water can be drained.
Caution Tank holds 20 liters.
Switch the casting machine on and let it run until the pump of the water circulation unit becomes louder.
Completely drain the rest of the water without using the pump.
Warning Do not use compressed air to remove the remaining water.
This may damage the tank.
