the jack.
3) Turn the control close to the handlebar to the right (with respect to the operator) and the jack will lift the
load. DWG.13
4) After lifting the load, it is absolutely essential to rest it on the support stands, before any operation under
the vehicle.
REMEMBER : THE JACK IS A LIFTING DEVICE AND NOT A SUPPORTING DEVICE
5) Turn the control close to the handlebar to the left (with respect to the operator) and the load will come
down.
6) The operator's employer will have to provide the necessary training and furnish the necessary
information about the pumping and shifting forces.
7) In case the distributor breaks during use, close the safety tap Nr. 398, placed between the quick
coupling of air inlet and the distributors. DWG.14
IMPROPER USE
The air-hydraulic jack has been designed and made to lift motor vehicles. Any other use of the jack, such
as for instance lifting and/or moving persons, is considered to be definitely improper.
All use of the jack not in conformity with the safety rules listed in this handbook is considered to be
improper use.
MAINTENANCE RESERVED TO THE END USER
The jack has a handle with 3 positions and one 4/3 monostable distributor CP9430, 5/3 monostable distributor
CP9460.
In the event of the air pipe breaking or coming off, the jack will stop immediately.
1) For a long service life of the jack, it is advised to clean the rams on the outside every fortnight.
2) At least twice a year, check the level of oil in the tank: this check must be done with the rams fully lowered.
The oil level has to be checked by unscrewing the small bolt on the side of the cylinder/tank.
In the event of needing to add oil to the tank, make sure it is compatible with the oil already present so as
not to jeopardize the soundness of the machine.
3) If the oil level is higher than required, even slightly, or if the jack has been turned upside down (which
happens easily during transport), the oil is expelled through the silencer (0267) in the form of mist. This
phenomenon disappears on its own only when the oil level has been restored. If the oil inside the tank
greatly exceeds the indicated level, it is advisable to remove some to restore the level. DWG.15
BLEEDING
In case the motor works but fails to lift the load, check first of all the oil level.
To do this you have to unscrew the bolt on the side of the tank and if the level is insufficient top up with oil
and then bleed the air from the piston as explained below:
1. Make the pistons move out completely
2. Remove the casing and close the tap 0843
3. Turn the jack over on to one side
4. Loosen the dowel 0541 and push the pistons back with your hands
5. Discharge all the air until oil starts coming out and then tighten the dowel
6. Check the oil level again
7. Repeat this procedure from point 1 to 5 at least 2 to 3 times. At the end check the oil level once more.

MAINTENANCE RESERVED TO A PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED ENGINEER

Having to carry out maintenance or overhauling, use exclusively genuine spare parts to ensure the utmost
reliability for the jack.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1) THE MOTOR WILL NOT START, OR IT RUNS BADLY.
A) Check that the air supply line is not choked.
B) The seals (760 CP9430) (1101 CP9460) are worn, replace them!
C) The seals (760 CP9430) (1101 CP9460) fitted on the piston (755 CP9430) (1102 CP9460) have difficulty in
sliding: both the cylinder and the ram have
to be dismantled and lubricated.
2) THE JACK DOES NOT LIFT THE LOAD.
A) Check the oil level by means of the screw (301).
B) There is dirt underneath the valves : remove the casing, close the tap 843, turn the jack over so the
