Lay the cable-harness end with the 6-way plug connector (cable colours red, brown, blue,
blue/white and blue/green) for the 6-way plug connector to the right tail lights on the vehicle.
Undo the 6-way plug connector and plug together with the matching complementary connectors of
the cable harness and click home.
Fasten the trailer signaling monitor supplied with the kit in the right-hand recess using the M5 x 12
screw and M5 nut provided for the purpose.
Plug-in the 8-way dual-in-line package connector (black) on the cable harness to the trailer signaling
monitor and click home.
Route the cable-harness end with the remaining 6-way plug connector (cable colour red/white) to
the 6-way connector on the vehicle in lower area on the right-hand side of the boot. (cable colours
grey/red, white/blue, green, grey, brown/white and black/green)
Undo the 6-way plug connector and plug together with the matching complementary connectors of
the cable harness and click home.
Stick signal transmitter supplied with the kit to the side covering of the right rear window pillar.
(D-pillar). (If necessary, fasten with self-tapping screw provided)
Plug together the 2-way dual-in-line package connector of the cable harness (cable colours red and
black) with the matching complementary connector of the signal transmitter and click home.
4. Test function
Connect earth line to battery again.
Test all functions with suitable testing device.
The signal transmitter sounds in time with the blinks, when the 21 watt trailer blinker is alight.
Fit all line branches with the enclosed cable clips,
refit all claddings and dismantled parts.
