After performing voltage measurements,
disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to follow these instructions can

Voltage Measurement Safety Information
When performing live voltage measurements, you must do the following:
Verify the controls are in the off position so that the appliance does not start
when energized.
Allow enough space to perform the voltage measurements without
obstructions.
Keep other people a safe distance away from the appliance to prevent
potential injury.
Always use the proper testing equipment.
After voltage measurements, always disconnect power before servicing.
NOTE: Watt and pressure readings will vary and are influenced by
the existing condition of the appliance, such as iced-up
evaporator, the condition of the condenser, the defrost cycle,
the pull-down time, and customer use.

* Normal operating conditions are viewed when the air and
temperature controls are at mid-setting, freezer section 0°F
(-18°C) to -5°F (- 21°C) or refrigerator section 39°F (4°C) to
45°F (7°C), and unit is cycling.
Service Diagnostic
NOTE: The LED sequence (1, 4, 3, 2) is correct as shown.
To Enter Service Diagnostic Mode
1. Set the «freezer or refrigerator» temperature to the lowest
setting prior to entering the Service Diagnostic mode. LED1
should be the only LED illuminated.

2. Press and hold SW1 (Temp Setting) and the door switch
simultaneously for 5 seconds.
3. Release both buttons after all of the LEDs are illuminated.
4. If Diagnostic mode does not start, unplug the refrigerator or
freezer, and plug it back in. Repeat steps 1-3.
NOTES:
n All loads are turned off.
n Service technician must press SW1 (Temp setting ) to advance
through steps in Service Diagnostic mode.
n The display will show LED1 on to indicate that the control is in
Step1 of the Diagnostic routine.
n Each step must be manually advance by pressing SW1 (Temp
setting).
n Diagonostic will begin at Step 1 following the sequence shown
in the component tests table.
n To guarantee good voltage comparision indicating load failure,
a minimunm of 3 seconds is needed in each for system
stabilization.
n All thermistors wil be tested without action required from the
service technician. This test is done after Step 4, heater off.
