IV. GETTING STARTED
UNPACKING
- Remove product from its packaging.
- Check that product and accessories are not damage.
INSTALLATION
This reel is best installed close to a source of water.
For a large area, please place it in the center of the work area and then you can extend the
hose to the most convenient point in this area.
Link the intake hose to inlet on housing, then link the other extremity to a water source.
To avoid any leakage, use sealing tape on thread.
Remark: do not over tighten to avoid damaging the thread.
The mounting bracket can be installed to a brick wall (Fig 3).
There are many alternative positions in which the unit can be placed.
The key point is subject to what is convenient for the user.
The most appropriate position is to mount it on a wall or post horizontally, approximately
1.25m above the ground.
Otherwise, the reel can be used vertically when hung on a suitable overhead beam or rafter
(Fig. 3).
When installing the reel to the bracket, the pin (2) (Fig.4) must be fixed with a bolt or lock
through the hole in the bottom to ensure safety.
The mounting bracket has 4 holes, for each there is a corresponding M8 screw. Each screw
must be with spring washer and spacer (Fig.5).

Tips
It is recommended that the reel be located in a sheltered position to prolong its life. The metal
parts will deteriorate and rust in exposed positions. Also the polypropylene parts will be
affected when exposed outside, particularly under sunlight, which will affect the life of the
reel housing and retracting mechanism. In the event of freezing temperatures, the hose also
will be damaged if the hose is full of water.

Introduction
The hose reel is driven and released by a spring, which can rewind the hose automatically.
