14 Implement a function check.
15 Close tap connections and check the leak tightness of the measuring capsule.
16 Carefully push the seal ring over the meter using the assembly spanner until it en-
gages.
Optional: seal the IST measuring capsule with wire and a crimping seal.
17 Seal the union piece connectors.
18 In case of installation in in-wall connection housing: Push the Techem rosette flush
onto the wall and align.
19 If the original protective sleeve and rosette are used: Slide the intermediate ring onto
the Techem measuring capsule, then place the original protective sleeve and rosette.
Hood segment and radio module
The hood segment of the measuring capsules or the radio module are engaged in the
meter housing and are protected with a seal ring.

If used in accordance with its intended use, the water meter is maintenance-free for the
duration of use.
