Lock the temperature sensor or spacer. In doing so, only tighten the locking screw
hand-tight.
!
When installing in immersion pockets, the sensors must be pushed in up to the
bottom of the immersion pocket and then fixed.
Connector Temperature sensors on the computer unit

necessary.
When using third-party pairs of temperature sensors in a 4-conductor design, pay atten-
tion to the assignment of the connection terminals. – The sensor which lies in the hotter
section is installed on clamps 1, 5, 6 and 2 The sensor in the colder section is installed
on clamps 3, 7 , 8 and 4. – Press the sensor cable into the strain relief fitting.
Connecting the volume measuring section
!
The volume measuring section and the computer unit must have the same pulse
value.
Connect the volume measuring section pulse output to terminals 10 (pulse input) (open
collector - volume impulse) and 11 (-) (ground) of the computer unit.
Extension modules
The computer unit has two ports for extension modules. These modules have no
retrospective effect on the consumption measurement and can be retrofitted without
damaging the calibration mark.
The computer unit is equipped with automatic identification and display, showing which
module is plugged into which port.
Installation of the modules
Fold down the side catches to open the computer unit.
1
Engage the module into the appropriate port.
2
Carefully plug in the applicable flat cable on both sides.
3
Close the cover.
4
Press the push-button to check that the meter operates correctly.
5
Seal the casing cover.
6
