Instructions for use – Binofix
With the "Binofix" universal binocular mount, almost any pair of binoculars
can be quickly and easily mounted to a stand.
The mount was deliberately constructed so that the binoculars' viewing axis is
set off the mount axis by approximately 30 cm, enabling better operation of
the tilt and incline knob (6) on the stand.
The universal binocular mount is attached to the stand with the help of the
stand connector threading (

The two bores (2) for the locating pin on the stand enable the binocular
mount to be center mounted or offset to the left or right.
Mount and clamp binoculars
Set interpupillary distance on binoculars.
Press the clamping lever (3) up and pull the rubber strap (4) enough that the
binoculars can be placed in the resulting loop.
Place binoculars in the middle of the support (5) of the stand mount.
Tighten rubber strap (4), ensuring that the user elements – single – and mid-
dle drive (7) are not clamped by the strap (4).
If the interpupillary distance is altered as a result of this, it can be readjusted
even when the strap is tightened.
Remove binoculars
Raise clamping lever (3) and loosen strap (4).
The binoculars can now be removed.
