3. ADJUSTING THE STEERING ROD
The handlebars' telescopic mechanism can be released and locked using a quick
release. To adjust the height of the handlebars, release the quick release and pull
the steering rod to the desired height. Fasten the quick release when the handle-
bars are at the desired height.
The fi rmness of the quick release can be manually adjusted on the knurled knob.
Make sure that it is always very fi rmly fi xed into place.
CAUTION: Always use care when tightening the quick release bolt. If it is insuf-
fi ciently fastened, there is a risk of the handlebar being pushed together during
the braking process.
This is why you should always check the tightness of the lock in standing position
prior to every ride.
