Dust extraction

The jigsaw has been equipped with a socket intended for connecting the external vacuum
cleaner. To do this:
• Connect the vacuum cleaner adapter to the socket at the back of the jigsaw so that the
projections of the adapter fit the notches in the socket.
• Firmly rotate the adapter anticlockwise until it locks in place.
• Connect the hose of the vacuum cleaner to the adapter.
• To disconnect the adapter from the jigsaw, firmly rotate the adapter clockwise until it
unlocks and remove it.
WARNING. Do not use dust extraction function when cutting metal. Metal filings may ignite
residues of wood dust.
Switching the power tool on and off
The power tool has been equipped with the ON/OFF switch with lock what prevents
accidental starting.
• To switch on the power tool, press and hold the lock-on switch (1).
• Holding the lock-on switch (1), press and hold the ON/OFF button (2).
• Release the ON/OFF switch to switch off the power tool.
MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the power tool and remove the
battery.
Clean the casing regularly with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that
the ventilation openings are free of dust and dirt. Clean the blade (remember about the
blade shaft) with a brush or compressed air. Remove very persistent dirt using a soft cloth
moistened with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc.
Chemicals such as these will damage the synthetic components.
Clean the power tool before storing. Store the power tool, user manual and accessories
in the original packaging. Store the product in a clean, dry place protected from moist and
keep it out of the reach of children. Do not store the power tool in temperatures below 0°C.
Do not place or store any object on the top of the power tool.
Special condition for battery transport
The lithium-ion batteries contained in the power tool are subject to the dangerous goods
requirements. When preparing the tool to be shipped, it is mandatory to consult a specialist
in hazardous materials. Also observe any national/local regulations which is likely to be
