Grounding Devices
Leviton supplies a grounding point with a green grounding screw on the front of
the PDU. It is recommended to use a crimp-on grounding lug or a grounding
clamp to connect the grounding circuit to the screw on the PDU. Always check
local codes and regulations for proper grounding requirements.

Connecting to the Power Source

METERED AND BASIC FLX SERIES PDU
Plug the PDU into the power source and check to ensure that the meter or power indicator
light illuminates.
MONITORED AND ENHANCED METERED FLX SERIES PDU
Connect the optional Temperature/Humidity Probe P/N: TCORD-010 to the TH1/TH2 ports
if applicable. Connect the OUT port of the Monitored PDU to the IN port of an Enhanced
Metered PDU if applicable using a category 5e or 6 patch cord.
MONITORED PDU
Plug the PDU into the power source and check to ensure that the meter illuminates.
NOTE: 20A PDUs are available with straight or locking plugs. All Leviton FLX Series
PDUs come with an attached (hard-wired) power cord.
Connecting Devices to the PDU
NOTE: Leviton strongly recommends even distribution of attached devices across all
available outlets to avoid exceeding the outlet, branch, or phase limitations which can
potentially cause equipment damage.
• Leave equipment in the "OFF" position when connecting to the rack PDU.
• Power the equipment on after plugging it into the PDU.
