Always close and hold the lid of the receptacle before starting to blend. In case the lid
would come up during the mixing of hot preparations in particular (see "caution" on page
9), stop your appliance and take the lid off in order to release built-up pressure. Then
restart the operation, holding the lid firm.
The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food, which have to
be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at
once.
Do not touch the blades while the appliance is operating and do not try to block their
movement in any way.
Do not use the appliance without any food in it.
Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to
follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating
label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum usage time).
The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.
CAUTION!
Your appliance is fitted with a security device on the pouring jug allowing the functioning of
the appliance only when the jug and its lid are correctly placed on the motor base. If those
conditions are met and the appliance does not start, call your after sales service.
MOUNTING OF THE BLENDER AND USE
Assemble the pouring jug on the motor block in such a manner that the jug fits perfectly.
Therefore, make sure that the two small notches on the bottom side of the jug are placed
on top of the two small blocks inside the motor block, and the handle of the jug must face
the front left side. Slightly rock the pouring jug until it clicks.
Fill the pouring jug with the chosen ingredients. The maximal capacity is 1500 ml.
Put the lid on the jug and press it down. Close the feeding hole of the lid with the cap (1)
and turn the cap anticlockwise so that it locks into place.
Make sure the ON/OFF switch (9) is in position OFF.
Plug in. The blue light surrounding the turning knob indicates that the appliance is
connected to the power supply.
Turn the ON/OFF switch to position ON to switch on the appliance.
You can choose between 3 functions: "SMOOTHIE", "ICE" and "PULSE". Press the button of
the desired function. The button lights up and the appliance starts working according to
the selected function.
Press button SMOOTHIE to make milkshakes and for symmetrical blending. The blender will
work continuously at high speed until you stop it by pressing the same button again.
Press button ICE to crush ice. The appliance will blend for 3 seconds at high speed, then it
stops for 2 seconds. This cycle will continue until you stop the appliance by pressing the
same button again.
The button PULSE allows a manual operation because you have to keep pushing it when
functioning. The blender will work at high speed for as long as you push the button.
You can also regulate the speed at which the blades turn while mixing. Therefore, after
turning the turning knob to position ON, turn the knob to a position between the MIN mark
(low speed) and the MAX mark (high speed). Select the speed that is most suitable for the
ingredients you want to process. The blender will operate at the selected speed until you
