IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
2. Check that the voltage in your home corresponds to that stated
on the rating plate of the appliance, before using.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plug, or
the motor unit in water or other liquids. Do not operate knife in
water or under running water.
4. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near
children. This appliance is not intended to be used by children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, and before putting on or
taking off parts, or before cleaning. Disconnect when changing
blades.
6. Avoid contact with moving parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to the authorized service facility for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
8. The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
9. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Unplug before handling
blades. Always handle blades with your hand away from the
cutting edge.
10. Always store blades with the cutting edge away from you.
11. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
12. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces.
13. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
14. To disconnect, put appliance in off position and remove the plug
from the wall outlet.
15. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
16. It is absolutely necessary to keep the blades of this appliance
clean at all times as they come into direct contact with food.
17. Do not attempt to sharpen the blades.

210 mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
