This setting should be used as standard for
the battery charger during use.
The "BOOST" setting provides a high
charging current, and should only be used
for charging a battery that is not completely
 at.
Check that a high charging current will not
damage the battery. If the temperature
of the battery being charged increases
too much, the "MIN" setting should be
selected, or the charging process should be
interrupted.
If you have selected the "MIN" setting,
you can use the "1/2" switch to select the
appropriate charging current in accordance
with the following:
MIN/BOOST

[A]

MIN

BOOST
If you have selected the "BOOST" setting, the
"1/2" switch has no function. The "BOOST"
setting makes it possible to achieve a higher
charging current than the battery charger's
rated current, albeit for a short period.
If the "BOOST" setting is used for a long
period, the battery charger's temperature
fuse activates, and the charging current is
interrupted until the battery has cooled.
Once the battery has cooled, the charging
process resumes automatically.

Connecting the battery charger to the
battery
Connect the battery charger's terminals
to the battery: rst connect the battery
charger's positive terminal (+) to the
battery's positive terminal (+) and then
connect the battery charger's negative
terminal (-) to the battery's negative
terminal (-).
Then plug the battery charger's power cord
into a grounded mains socket.
During charging, you can read the value
of the current being sent to the battery
terminals on the battery charger's
amperemeter.
Once charging is complete, unplug the
power cord. The battery charger's terminals
must then be disconnected from the
battery in reverse order.
Cleaning and maintenance
The battery charger should be wiped down
with a soft damp cloth, dipped in a mild
soapy solution and wrung out, if possible.
Check the condition of the terminals before
and after use. Remove any corrosion that
may impair the ability of the terminals to
conduct current.
The battery charger should be stored in
a dry place out of reach of unauthorised
persons, including children.
