Introduction
To get the most out of your new battery
charger, please read through these
instructions before use. We also recommend
that you save the instructions in case you
need to refer to them at a later date.

Special safety instructions

Note! The battery charger is solely intended
for charging lead acid batteries. It must
not be used for charging other types of
batteries.
Ensure good ventilation when charging.
Charging at room temperature is
recommended.
The battery charger is intended for indoor
use and must be protected from moisture.
The battery charger must be connected to a
power socket with an earth conductor.
Do not leave the battery charger plugged
in constantly. Unplug it when you have
� nished using it.
Read the instructions for recharging the
battery from the battery manufacturer
before you begin charging.
Do not charge defective batteries or
batteries not designed for recharging.

Never charge a frozen battery.
Wear goggles and turn your face away
when connecting or disconnecting the
battery.
Battery acid is corrosive. Rinse immediately
with copious quantities of water if you get
acid on your skin or in your eyes. Contact a
doctor if necessary.
Make sure that the cable does not get

trapped or come into contact with hot

Never touch the battery charger terminals
when the battery charger is plugged in.
