▪ The supply voltage at the reader's connector should be between +5 Vdc and +5.5 Vdc.
▪ We recommend to use a filtered and regulated power supply.
▪ As far as possible, keep the reader away from computer or power source cables. They can generate electrical interference, depending on their radiation level
and the proximity of the reader.
▪ Maximum distance between reader and the controller board: 19.69 in / 500 mm.
▪ Readers installed on a metal surface may have reduced performances, the reader should be installed at no less than 2.76 in / 7 cm from any metallic surface.
▪ Connect the wires or the connector of the reader BEFORE powering on.
▪ Not connected pins NC must be unconnected.
▪ The signals are of the RS232-TTL form, do not connect the reader directly to a RS232 serial port.
▪ Operating temperatures: -4 °F to 158 °F / -20°C to +70°C.
