Setting Up Various Protocols
To use your ELSA TanGo 2000 with online services such as CompuServe, AOL, and other
Internet providers, it has to be set up to use the HDLC PPP protocol. After you have
installed the ELSA TanGo 2000 under your computer's operating system, please continue
as follows:
Select Start Settings
In the dialog 'Install new modem', click on Don't detect my modem, I will select
it from a list and click on Next.
In the 'Manufacturer' field, select the entry ELSA AG and in the Model: field select
the ELSA TanGo 2000 PPP. Then confirm with Next.
Select the interface (e.g. COM1) to whoich your ISDN terminal adapter is connec-
cted and confirm with Next. Your ELSA TanGo 2000 is thus newly configured.
To make use of another protocol you should select the matching device as described
under point 3, for example ELSA TanGo 2000 V.120.
