12 OR 24 V DC CONTROLLED OUTPUT
The controlled output is regulated by an electronic switch that can switch on or off the consumers of your
installation. You can connect DC consumers:
12V or 24V, depending on the battery that is connected, such as a light, a pump, a motor...
The maximum continuous power accepted is:
- 10A for the 10-24 model (either 120W - 12V or 240W - 24V)
- 20A for the 20-24 models (either 240W - 12V or 480W - 24V)
- 30A for the 30-24 (either 450W - 12V or 900W - 24V)
Some consumers have a current draw when turning on that can be higher than the indicated rating power.
Unisolar allows those temporary overconsumptions, limited to:
- 1,5 times the nominal current during 5 secondes
- 1,25 times the nominal current during 60 secondes.
Nevertheless, you can directly connect the consumers to the battery without going through the connection of
the Unisolar and thus use more the battery. However, the overload protection and more importantly the battery
undervoltage protection will not be ensured. You will have to ensure, by yourself, the surveillance of the
installation thanks to battery status lights and to cut off the consumers if necessary.
