Do not apply excessive pressure on the wall chaser, do not push it forward forcefully. Pressure
while plunging and moving should be moderate. Applying excessive pressure may cause motor
overheating and damage of the cutting blade.
Cutting blades heat up to high temperatures during operation – do not touch them with unprotected
parts of your body before they cool down.
When cutting very hard materials, cutting blade may be overheated and damaged in consequence.
Shower of sparks around the cutting blade indicates overheating. When it appears, immediately
stop cutting and cool down the blade by running it with full rotational speed with no load for 3–5
minutes.
Noticeable decrease of cutting efficiency and shower of sparks around the cutting blade may
indicate blunt cutting blade.
Use only working tools whose allowable rotary speed is higher or equal to maximum wall chaser
speed with no load.
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing any activities related to installation,
adjustment, repair or maintenance.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

● Cleaning the device after each use is recommended.
● Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
● Clean the tool with a dry cloth or blow with compressed air at low pressure.
● Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, they may damage plastic parts.
● Clean ventilation holes in the motor casing regularly to prevent device overheating.
● In case of power cord damage replace it with a cord with the same specification. Entrust the repair to a
qualified specialist or return the tool to a service point.
● In case of excessive commutator sparking, have the technical condition of carbon brushes of the motor
checked by a qualified person.
● Always store the tool in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Immediately replace worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or cracked motor carbon brushes. Always replace
both carbon brushes at a time.
● Unscrew and remove carbon brush covers (8).
● Pull the pressure spring away, snap out and remove worn out carbon brushes.
● Remove any carbon dust with compressed air.
● Install new carbon brushes (they should easily slide into the brush holders) and reinstall the pressure
spring.
● Fix carbon brush covers (8).
After replacement of carbon brushes, start the power tool with no load and wait 1–2 minutes until
the carbon brushes fit to the motor commutator. Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a
qualified person. Only original parts should be used.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
