• Remote control: open the battery compartment.
• Put 8 AA batteries in the compartment (not included); respect the polarity. For better performance, alkaline
batteries are recommended. Do not mix battery types. Reposition the cover and close properly.
• Do not charge a battery pack in wet or hot circumstances or when the battery pack itself is hot. Always charge
batteries in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not dispose of batteries or a battery pack in fire or water.
• Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries and do not overcharge batteries.
• Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
• Avoid mixing new batteries with batteries that have already been used.
5. Operation
• Put the plastic tube over the truck antenna wire and insert the tube into the antenna stand in the truck body.
• Extend the remote control antenna fully.
• First, switch on the remote control and then the truck.
• If the truck moves forward or backward by itself (not caused by the remote control), adjust the Throttle Trim (TH-
TRIM - fig.1 #9) of the transmitter until the truck stops.
• If you make the truck go forward without touching the steering control (fig.1 #4) and the truck veers to the right or
the left by itself, adjust the Steering Trim (ST-TRIM - fig.1 #8) until the truck moves straight forward.
• Pull the trigger (fig.1 #7) towards the grip to make the truck go forward proportionally. Press the trigger forward to
make the truck go backward proportionally.
• Brake function: when the truck is in motion, push the trigger once to brake; pushing it a second time will make the
truck go backwards.
• Turn the steering wheel (fig.1 #4) to the left or the right to make the truck turn proportionally.
• When finished, switch the truck off first and then the remote.
6. Frequency Crystals
The TRCV3 comes with 5 sets of frequency crystals. One set consists of 2 crystals. The crystal labelled 'T' is for the
transmitter (remote control); the one labelled R is for the receiver (truck):
Change the crystals when you experience interference while racing with other trucks on a nearby or identical
frequency. To change the crystals, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the remote control and the truck off.
2. Unplug the original crystals from the remote control and the truck.
3. Plug a new crystal, labelled T, into the remote control and plug the R-crystal with the same frequency into the
truck.
IMPORTANT!!
• Make sure the crystals in the remote control and the truck have the same frequency.
• Always replace both crystals. Replacing only one crystal will disable TRCV3 operation.
• Make sure the devices are switched off when replacing the crystals to avoid damage to the crystals.
• Do not moisten the crystals to avoid damage.
