5. Supply Installation
- If the sink is not yet installed, install it at this time.
- Slide the coupling nuts and ferrules onto the supply tubes.
- Carefully insert the supply tubes into the valve inlets and shut-off
valve outlets (if used) and secure with coupling nuts.
- Carefully position the round end of the supply tube squarely to the
valve inlet and supply stop.
- Tighten all coupling nuts.
6. Installation Checkout
- Ensure that all coupling nuts are tight.
- Ensure that both faucet handles are turned off (hot = clockwise close,
cold = counterclockwise close).
- Turn on the main water supply (not the faucet), and check for leaks.
- Remove the aerator.
- Open both the hot and cold valves and run water through the spout
for about a minute to remove any debris.
- Repair as required.
- Check for leaks.
- Remove any debris from the aerator.
- Turn the water off, and re-install the aerator.
